Academic Support and Teaching System

My one-month exchange at Universitas Pekalongan was a remarkable experience. I was impressed by the university’s strong academic support and teaching system, which focused on equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in the real world—intellectual abilities, critical thinking skills, and noble character. I was also amazed by the university’s infrastructure and facilities, including a well-equipped library, digital learning platforms, and academic mentoring programs. These resources provided students with valuable support to learn and achieve academic success.Universitas Pekalongan offers a variety of academic programs, giving students the opportunity to study different fields at both undergraduate and graduate levels. The university has faculties in Economics and Business, Law, Fisheries, Agriculture, Health Sciences, Teacher Training and Education, Engineering, and Pharmacy, allowing students to pursue the courses that align with their interests.I’ve also discovered that the university offers specialized courses like Batik Technology, making it one of the few universities in Indonesia that provide this program, showing its commitment to preserving local culture. During my exchange period in the university, I had the opportunity to take their batik course and create my own batik design. They guided me through every step, from learning the basics to designing my own motif on fabric. This hands-on experience was truly memorable and something worth sharing, being able to immerse myself in their culture is something I will always cherish.
