Explanation of the Vision of Pekalongan University
1. Elements of "Excellent University in the field of Science and Technology", namely:
a. Development of excellence in Pekalongan University in facing global challenges through the implementation of science and technology that is competitive nationally and internationally.
b. Development of excellence in the field of science and technology through innovative and sustainable research in a directed, integrated manner and developed based on the characteristics of the Faculty and Study Program that are oriented towards global development.
c. Culture of excellence in the implementation of Tri Dharma as a strength to become the best university and contribute in the field of science and technology for society and the international world.

2. Elements of “Producing an Independent Generation”, namely:
a. Development of graduates’ abilities through education that builds independence (life-skills, soft-skills, and hard-skills) in accordance with the dynamics of progress in science, technology, and global society.
b. Development of character and leadership that includes problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, ethical morals, and innovation in facing the dynamics of international society.

3. Elements of “Producing a Professional Generation”, namely:
a. Development of graduates’ abilities with a global perspective with a comprehensive and adaptive understanding of competency outputs in accordance with stakeholders’ needs.
b. Development of graduates’ abilities to become scientific figures who have professional integrity in behaving and interacting with the community.

4. Elements of “Producing a Generation of Noble Morals”, namely:
a. Development of graduates’ abilities who have good behavior, based on the character of honesty, norms, and ethics that apply in society.
b. Development of graduates’ abilities who have national character in accordance with the profile that characterizes Indonesianness and respects global cultural diversity.

The mission of Pekalongan University is:
1. Organizing higher education in a professional manner that is competitive nationally and internationally.
2. Carrying out innovative and sustainable research in the context of developing science, technology, and art (IPTEKS) that has a global reputation and has an impact on society.
3. Carrying out community service that is environmentally aware and respects global cultural diversity in the context of downstreaming science, technology, and art (IPTEKS).
4. Developing an independent spirit and professional integrity in facing global challenges and the realities of community life by prioritizing norms and ethics.
5. Fostering and developing responsible higher education governance.

Objectives
Each mission is then described in terms of goals and objectives. Based on the Vision and Mission that have been set, the objectives of Pekalongan University are as follows:
1. Mission 1: Organizing higher education in a professional manner that is competitive nationally and internationally.
The objectives of this mission are:
a. Producing quality graduates who have superior, professional, and competitive competencies at the national and international levels.
b. Producing a quality learning process with high academic quality standards and a conducive educational environment.
c. Improving student achievement through academic and non-academic activities at the national and international levels.
d. Improving the recognition of lecturers and students in the field of education through national and international networks to support a quality learning process.

2. Mission 2: Carrying out innovative and sustainable research in the context of developing science, technology, and art (IPTEKS) that has a global reputation and has an impact on society. The objectives of the mission are:
a. Increasing the capacity of researchers with a global perspective in the context of developing science, technology, and art (IPTEKS) in order to increase international competitiveness.
b. Producing innovative research and appropriate technology to encourage the development of science, technology, and art (IPTEKS).
c. Increasing the quality of research and recognition of research results that are oriented towards solutions to local, national, and global problems. d.
Building a network of researchers with universities, the business world, and the industrial world at national and international levels.

3. Mission 3: Carrying out community service that is environmentally aware and respects global cultural diversity in the context of downstreaming science, technology, and art (IPTEKS). The objectives of the mission are:
a. Increasing the productivity of lecturers and students in community service activities that are environmentally aware and respect global cultural diversity in order to improve the reputation of Pekalongan University.
b. Increasing the output of community service results carried out by lecturers and students.
c. Encouraging the principles of sustainable development in the context of downstreaming science, technology, and art (IPTEKS).

4. Mission 4: Developing an independent spirit and professional integrity in facing global challenges and the realities of community life by prioritizing norms and ethics.
The objectives of the mission are:
a. Increasing the credibility and independence of graduates among stakeholders and the community.
b. Building character and independent people for students and graduates by developing the ability to think, innovate, and adapt amidst global dynamics and community needs.
c. Increasing the professionalism of graduates who have superior competencies according to their scientific fields, by prioritizing work ethic, responsibility, and practical expertise.

5. Mission 5: Fostering and developing responsible university governance.
The objectives of the mission are:
a. Creating a healthy competitive climate for the academic community of Pekalongan University based on potential and a sense of togetherness.
